and Forensics Training

Web-based training course for email discovery and forensics.
Hosted
by Warren Kruse and Steven Branigan of CFS, the Web-based
training titled "Email Discovery and Forensics:
A Non-Technical Primer," is aimed at assisting
corporations and law firms in responding to electronic
discovery requests involving email. Specific topics
include retrieving deleted email and the most common
items within email that prove helpful to investigators.

Warren Kruse
Warren G. Kruse II, managing partner and founder of
CFS, is a certified and internationally recognized data
forensics expert. He specializes in e-discovery and
data forensics and serves as a frequent lecturer on
computer forensics, incident response, and cybercrime.
He has lectured internationally for groups including
SANS, Computer Security Institute, MIS Institute, Certified
Fraud Examiners, ISSA, HTCIA, IR Italy, etc. He is a
member of numerous government sponsored initiatives,
including co-chair of the National Cybercrime Training
Partnership and member of the New York and European
Electronic Crimes Task Forces of the US Secret Service.

Professional (CISSP) and a New Jersey Certified Police
Officer (retired).

Steven Branigan, partner at CFS, has been involved in
the evolution of responses to high technology security
issues for more 10 years, where he has testified for
Congress, led successful computer intrusion investigations
for countless clients, and co-authored a comprehensive
computer incident response guide. Branigan recently
released "High-Tech Crimes Revealed," which
tells the stories behind many computer crime cases.
Branigan has a distinguished career in information technology
and network security fields, providing training to various
law enforcement agencies on detecting and investigating
high-tech crime issues. Prior to joining CFS, he served
in numerous positions at Bellcore, Bell Labs and Lumeta.
