Warren is the coauthor of “Computer Forensics: Incident Response Essentials”, published by Addison Wesley. Warren has also had published several articles in Law Enforcement Technology Journal that dealt with computers and high-tech crime. He is a frequent media commentator and speaker on computer forensics, incident response, nad cybercrime.  He is a member of numerous government-sponsored initiatives, including co-chair of the National Cybercrime Training Partnership and the Electronic Crimes Task Force of the U.S. Secret Service.
 

Warren has extensive experience investigating cases involving the illegal use of computer and networks and received the High Tech Crime Investigation Association's (HTCIA) "Case of the Year" award. He is an IACIS certified forensic computer examiner and a (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional

Warren experience includes being Investigations Manager, Cyber Investigations and Forensics, for Lucent Technologies from 1998 to 2003.  Warren was a sworn Police Officer in New Jersey from 1987 to 1998.

He has taught computer forensics at the SANS Institute, MIS Institute and currently instructor of the hands-on Computer Forensic Bootcamp at Intenseschool.  Warren also teaches Advanced Internet Investigations at SEARCH, and Incident Response at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).  He has been interviewed as an expert on several articles that have appeared in InfoWorld, CNN, and others. Warren recently appeared as a "cybercrime expert" on TechTV.
